Offered for sale is most unusual Art Nouveau period, oil chamber lamp in dark amber glass. The base is hand blown into sinuous swirls synonymous with the naturalistic themes of the movement. The chimney glass is fully of tiny inclusions giving it a textured bark like effect.

Art Nouveau is characterized by its use of a long, sinuous, organic lines and was employed most often in architecture, interior design, jewellery and glass design, posters, and illustration.
