Bing & Grondahl Christmas Plate for 1986

Offered for sale is a 1986 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate designed by Edvard Jensen entitled "Silent Night Holy Night". The plate depicts Sollerod Church, a village church to the north of Copenhagenwhich dates back to the 12th century. The church has been enlarged and rebuilt several times since then. In the snow we see footsteps, probably from the churchgoers who attended the service in the afternoon of Christmas eve.
